Do my customers need to download any app?
No. Everything happens inside WhatsApp — the app your customers already use every day. They do not need to create an account, download anything, or leave WhatsApp at any point.
How does the bot receive and send WhatsApp messages?
WA Commerce connects directly to your WhatsApp number for seamless, stable integration. You link your number once in the dashboard via QR code scanning and the bot handles everything from that point.
Is my store data safe and private?
Yes. Every merchant account is fully isolated — your products, customers, and orders are completely separate from any other store on the platform. We do not share or sell your data.
Can multiple WhatsApp numbers run different bots independently?
Yes. Each connected WhatsApp account operates its own independent bot. If you run two stores, each has its own bot, catalog, and order flow that does not interfere with the other.
What happens if a customer wants to speak to a real person?
The customer types /human (or whatever trigger you configure), and the bot immediately steps aside. Your team gets an instant dashboard alert so they can jump in. The bot will not respond again until you reactivate it for that customer.
How does Paystack payment work?
When a customer confirms their order, WA Commerce generates a secure Paystack checkout link and sends it in the same WhatsApp chat. Paystack handles card, bank transfer, and USSD payments. Once paid, a webhook notifies WA Commerce and the receipt is sent to the customer automatically.
Is my customers’ payment data stored on WA Commerce?
No. Payment processing is handled entirely by Paystack, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. WA Commerce only receives a payment confirmation event — we never see card numbers or sensitive financial data.
Can I customise the bot messages and commands?
Yes. From the dashboard, you can edit welcome messages, command triggers (e.g. what keyword starts the bot or hands off to a human), product descriptions, and automated replies. Custom commands are also supported on the Growth and Scale plans.
What happens if I need a feature that is not listed?

Do others have access to my whatsapp account ?
No one has access to your Whatsapp account, you connect directly to the bot and the bot only reads incoming messages from allowed numbers and formualtes a reply, you can deactivate the bot for specific customers from your dahsboard
